About Caitlin

As a professional actor, writer, and filmmaker, I’ve always had to have what we artists call a “survival job.” My survival jobs have spanned functions as varied as recruiting, fundraising, client services, marketing, and classroom teaching. When I struck out on my own as a consultant, I made a powerful discovery: my eclectic professional history and skillset wasn’t a “jack-of-all-trades, master of none” scenario; it was my greatest strength.

As an indie filmmaker, I know how to gather people with wildly different personalities and skillsets together to bring aspirational goals to life. As a producer, I have both the vision and willingness to immerse myself in the details that’s required to keep ambitious projects on track. These two sides of my identity and my professional life didn’t have to stay separate—under the title Chief of Staff, they come together to create a powerful asset for your organization’s culture and your own day-to-day work as a leader.

That’s not to say I don’t specialize; for several years, I’ve been a consultant with nonprofit executive search firm Pearl Street Collective, now proudly part of Lindauer. In this work, I’ve had the opportunity to partner and strategize with hiring managers from organizations like Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Northeastern University, and UNC Chapel Hill.

Clients have also relied on me for marketing strategy and support, particularly video and fundraising communications. For samples of my marketing work, visit caitlingraham.com/marketing.
