Considering bringing on a fractional Chief of Staff?
Here’s a questionnaire to help you think it through—and see if we might be a good fit for each other.
Where efficiency meets humanity
I help heart-led, innovative CEOs focus their impact by serving as their strategic operations partner—driving culture and priorities, designing systems, and freeing them to lead with greater purpose.
As a professional actor, writer, and filmmaker, I’ve always had to have what we artists call a “survival job.” My survival jobs have spanned functions as varied as recruiting, fundraising, client services, marketing, and classroom teaching. When I struck out on my own as a consultant, I made a powerful discovery: my eclectic professional history and skillset wasn’t a “jack-of-all-trades, master of none” scenario; it was my greatest strength.
As an indie filmmaker, I know how to gather people with wildly different personalities and skillsets together to bring aspirational goals to life. As a producer, I have both the vision and willingness to immerse myself in the details that’s required to keep ambitious projects on track. These two sides of my identity and my professional life didn’t have to stay separate—under the title Chief of Staff, they come together to create a powerful asset for your organization’s culture and your own day-to-day work as a leader.
What is a fractional Chief of Staff?
A fractional Chief of Staff keeps things humming and keeps you sane. For organizations early in their growth—or navigating a challenging transition—a fractional (part-time) Chief of Staff can offer critical support, insight, and capacity to senior leaders who may not have the resources or bandwidth to hire full-time. Acting as a strategic partner, a CoS helps keep you organized, aligned with your highest priorities, and ensures clear communication across teams and projects so everything stays consistent and on track.
“Caitlin brings it all –
exceptional writing skills, fine attention to detail, and creativity that lends itself to quality outcomes. Multi-talented is an understatement.
She is able to run with projects with little or no information, and generates quality work product that exceeds expectations. As a trainer and a coach, she engages her audience and brings forth relevant content that can help even the most experienced/discerning participant.
Smart is a given; the bonus is that she is witty and fun – truly a joy to work with.
Can’t recommend her enough.”
